Commercial Vehicle Training Association

The Commercial Vehicle Training Association (CVTA) is the national trade organization representing more than 200 truck driver training sites in the U.S. CVTA seeks to unite these Truck Driver Training Sites into one voice in Washington.
Truck driving schools across the United States look to CVTA for leadership and guidance in areas of legislation, finance, and networking, while potential students call upon CVTA to locate the best trucking schools in their areas.
It is easy to recommend our member schools to students because we know that each training program has been reviewed for compliance with the high standards set forth by the CVTA. With the nation's currently critical truck driver shortage, it would be easy for some schools to lower their training requirements, but we know that CVTA members maintain the highest level of ethics, and fully prepare each student for a rewarding career.
Headquartered in the Washington, DC area, members of the Commercial Vehicle Training Association operate more than 180 training sites nationwide that graduate an estimated 45,000 students annually. In addition, CVTA has more than 17 Motor Carrier and 29 Associate Members.
