School Instructor Certification Program
Overview
CVTA’s School Instructor Certification Program (ICP) is designed to equip Commercial Driving School Instructors with the skills needed to instruct Pre-CDL students. Those who instruct Pre-CDL students face different challenges than those who already licensed CDL drivers.
The School ICP is designed to teach former commercial drivers how to teach and become an effective Instructor.
The School ICP is delivered in an online, self-paced environment, Instructors are able to access this content when it is convenient for them.
School Instructor Certifications
Each level is designed to improve the Instructor’s ability to reach students effectively. Each ICP level has been specifically designed to build on the foundations established by the preceding level. As the Instructors continue to grow, the ICP is designed to keep improving their skill development.
