Don Lefeve is President & CEO of the Commercial Vehicle Training Association (CVTA), overseeing all operations at CVTA and is the chief advocate before Congress, the White House, and federal regulatory agencies. He joined CVTA in 2013 and brings over 20 years of government relations and political experience to his post.

He has held senior government relations positions in industry and served on the legislative staff of former United States Senator John Warner. Lefeve has worked on several Congressional, Senate, and Presidential campaigns.

Lefeve holds a B.A. in History from Randolph-Macon College, a J.D. from George Mason University School of Law and was a 2006 Fellow at the Thomas C. Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership (University of Virginia). Mr. Lefeve is a member of the District of Columbia Bar.

Andrew Poliakoff is the Director of Government Affairs for the Commercial Vehicle Training Association (CVTA), where he represents and advances CVTA Member interests before Congress, federal agencies, and state regulators. Mr. Poliakoff works to ensure that state and federal policymakers understand the critical role that truck driver training schools have in transportation industry.

Possessing a strong communications and advocacy background, Mr. Poliakoff is a graduate of Georgetown University and earned a J.D. from Catholic University’s Columbus School of Law. He lives in Virginia with his wife Lacey, son Charlie and Golden Doodle, Louis.
