CVTA was honored to join with industry leaders at Arlington National Cemetery to renew our commitment to Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR). Located in the Military Women’s Memorial, this year’s event assembled the largest signatories group yet. Numerous CVTA members flew in from across the country to sign the ESGR ‘Statement and Support’ letter. CVTA’s Executive Director, Andy Poliakoff, signed the letter stating, “I’m pleased to have the chance to sign this letter on behalf of CVTA and to mark this as the third year that our organization has participated in this important activity.”
Occurring the day before the solemn Wreaths Across America ceremonies, the ESGR event was a somber reminder of the honorable and essential role that Guard members and Reservists play in preserving our nation. CVTA is proud to recognize the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights and to play our role in increasing public understanding and support for the National Guard and Military Reserves.
