CVTA continues to raise awareness in Congress of the positive impact that CVTA schools have on truck driving students each day.
As part of those efforts, CVTA has arranged tours of CVTA schools by Members of Congress.
During August Recess, Congressman Jim Costa (CA-21) toured Advanced Career Institute in Fresno, California.
Congressman Costa spent time with students asking them about their career aspirations and got first-hand experience of what it is like to be trained in a commercial motor vehicle.
