Latest News Upcoming WebinarsThe Entry Level Driver Training Regulation takes effect on February 7, 2022. Anyone seeking a Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (“CDL”), a School Bus (S), Passenger (P), or Hazardous Materials (H) endorsement will have to undergo formal training and be certified by an approved training provider before taking the CDL skills exam. All school, employer, union, or individuals providing training (“Training Provider”) must register their program with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (“FMCSA”), ensure their program meets or exceeds all ELDT curriculum requirements, and meet all federal, state, and local laws.
Any person who does not receive training from an authorized training provider will not be allowed to sit for the CDL Skills Exam.
