Martin Garsee

Martin became President of NAPFTDS, March 2011 and has been involved on the Board since 2001.

He is an experienced professional in the field of transportation and has 20+ years of experience at different levels with the Houston Community College and is currently the Director of Transportation Training. He has written and managed a $400,000 skills development grant for the training of over 350 students in the trucking industry.

Martin achieved a Master’s Degree from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas in 2009. He is passionate about the National Association of Publicly funded Truck Driving Schools; as well as a member and participant on several committees with the Texas Motor Transportation Association; a member of the Gulf Coast Fleet Maintenance Council and is a licensed instructor for Drive Safe Defensive Driving. He was also a past chairman of the Board for Harvest Christian Academy.

Martin lives in League City, Texas with his wife, Debra, has a daughter, son and a 4 year old grandson.
