It's a GREAT day in the CVTA!

We are pleased to announce that the CVTA Instructor Certification Program has been successfully updated, and is now available on the web. The changes that were made should greatly improve the ease with which instructors can access the testing site, and the accuracy of our record keeping.

HOW TO TAKE THE TEST

  • Log-in.
  • Click "My Learning Path" to see "My Courses."

  • Click Grade Exam when you are done. Exit Exam will cancel your exam.

All of your previously taken tests have been moved from the old system to the new system.

We are now able to also announce an important addition to the Instructor Certification Program - an entirely new level of study. This new level of certification is based on the definitive book on truck safety, "Safety for the Long Haul." The book, published by the American Trucking Associations, analyzes every aspect of heavy truck safety, accident causation and driver issues. We are proud to have partnered with ATA to offer those that have already received the designation "Master Instructor" to advance their knowledge and earn the designation "Certified Safety Professional."  We have also negotiated a discount for CVTA members that wish to purchase the book. It may be ordered at ATA Business Solutions.

CVTA thanks you for the commitment to professionalism that your participation in the Instructor Certification Program demonstrates. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions regarding the new testing site or the advanced certification program.
