Advertising Relations and Conference Committee

The Advertising and Conference Committee is charged with providing a conduit between members of CVTA and the public through Social Media and Internet Applications.

This committee is responsible for both the fall and spring activities and will assist CVTA staff in choosing the location, coordinating the contract with the hotel, and creating a program that provides CVTA members with a positive educational experience. The identification of topical speakers, and presentations relevant to the members’ interests, as well as the organization of interactive activities and social activities are required. Value must be shown to associate members by coordinating a schedule that allows for maximum interaction time.

In addition the committee will review all written complaints regarding false and/or misleading advertising received at the CVTA office. It will ascertain the nature and extent of the false or misleading advertising. Working with the Executive Director, the committee will develop an approach to resolving the issue. It will be the committee’s responsibility to recommend remedial action to the Association’s Executive Committee and/or Board of Directors.
